I know what you’re thinking… Curaçao looks lit but how much is it going to cost? Unlike other influencers, I’m actually telling y’all how much I spent.

There were six girls total on this trip and a few things we didn’t have to pay for, which helped lower the price. Let’s get into it.

$120.30 – Roundtrip flight from DC

  • Before you get too excited, this ticket wasn’t 120.30 total; that’s just how much I paid out of pocket lol. The total ticket was around $600 but I had a $200 travel credit with American Airlines and I used about 30,000 points from my Chase Sapphire Preferred card to cover the rest. Because I could only use the travel credit directly with American Airlines, I had to buy two separate tickets to be able to use the travel credit (on the American Airlines’ website) and points (through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal).

$293 – Food

  • All the food in Curaçao was delicious and pretty cheap. My most expensive meal was $85, which included a mocktail, appetizer, and lamb chops. For the locations we ate at, check out the “A Lit Girls Trip To Curaçao-6-day Itinerary” blog post.

$275/each – Villa

  • We stayed at Villa Nostalgia in the Jan Thiel neighborhood. Villa Nostalgia has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It’s an open floor plan with the living room opening up to the backyard pool area. It was absolutely breathtaking. It’s also very conventionally located: the grocery store was a four-minute walk, and the beach was a seven-minute walk.

$120/each – Excursion

  • We did a Seatrek excursion. This is a must-do in Curaçao! Experience low gravity walking on the seafloor at Pier Mari Pampoen. You’ll walk through the coral banks and feed the fish for an hour. No swimming experience is needed!

$110/each – Boat Day

  • We booked with Bluefinn Charters. It included snorkeling, a premium open bar, and lunch. The snorkeling was incredible as we got to see a shipwreck underwater. The boat ride lasted about 4-5 hours.

$65/each – At-home massages

$100/each – Transportation

  • We hired a private driver for the entirety of the trip. We booked through Luxury Taxi Service. Ask for Shurella or Wendel.

$30/each – COVID test

TOTAL = $1053.30

Southwest National Parks Road Trip: The Ultimate Travel Guide

I recently went on the adventure of a lifetime— a seven-day road trip through America’s Southwest! Before deciding on this trip, the only thing I knew about the Southwest was the Grand Canyon, but there is sooooo much more. This region is seriously underrated in how many cool and beautiful places there are to explore.
